Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 (Definitions)
  • These Terms: Store Terms of Service

  • The Company: RIDDER Co., Ltd.

  • The Service: The mail-order sales service provided by the Company via the Internet

  • Purchaser: Any individual who applies to purchase products after fully understanding and agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy in accordance with the procedures established by the Company

  • User: A collective term for any individual who searches, views, or uses images, text, designs, logos, videos, programs, ideas, or other information (hereinafter referred to as "Content") provided through the Service after fully understanding and agreeing to these Terms and the Privacy Policy

Article 2 (Applicability of These Terms)

These Terms set forth the conditions under which Users utilize the Service provided by the Company over the Internet. Users are deemed to have agreed to the contents of these Terms from the moment they begin using the Service.

Article 3 (Amendments to These Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms within the scope of the purpose of the Service whenever deemed necessary. If Users or Purchasers use the Service after changes to these Terms have been made, they will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.

Chapter 2 Product Purchases

Article 4 (Product Purchase & Formation of Sales Contract)

  1. Users may purchase products from the Company using the Service.

  2. When Users wish to purchase products, they shall submit a purchase application in accordance with the procedures separately specified by the Company.

  3. A sales contract application for the relevant product is submitted at the moment the User clicks the final order button after reviewing the entered delivery address, order details, and other information. A sales contract is not formed at the time the Company sends an order confirmation email ("Order Confirmation Email").

  4. A sales contract for the product shall be established between the User and the Company when the Company completes the dispatch of the product and sends a shipment completion notification email ("Shipping Confirmation Email") to the User.

  5. Because product inventory is shared with our retail store, stock may not be secured prior to the formation of the sales contract. In such cases, the Company will contact the User individually regarding order modifications or cancellations, and no sales contract shall be formed. If payment processing has already occurred, the Company will promptly issue a refund.

  6. Once an order application has been submitted, shipping address changes cannot be accepted due to shipment preparation logistics.

  7. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraphs, if any fraudulent or improper conduct occurs in connection with the use of the Service, the Company may rescind, terminate, or take other appropriate measures regarding the sales contract.

  8. Minor Users may not purchase products using the Service without obtaining the prior consent of a qualified legal guardian.

Article 5 (Changes to Registered Information)

Purchasers shall promptly notify the Company of any changes to all or part of their name, address, or other details registered at the time of purchase. Even if a change is registered, transactions processed prior to the update will be handled based on the information provided before the change.

Article 6 (Payment Methods)

  1. The total payment amount for products shall be the sum of the product selling price (tax included) displayed on the site and the applicable shipping fee.

  2. Payments for products purchased through the Service are restricted to the payment methods specified by the Company.

  3. If paying by credit card, the Purchaser shall comply with the terms separately agreed upon between the Purchaser and the credit card issuer. Any dispute arising between the Purchaser and the credit card issuer shall be resolved between those parties at their own responsibility.

  4. When using payment methods that require a separate agreement between the Purchaser and a third-party payment provider, the Purchaser shall comply with the conditions separately agreed upon with said provider. Any dispute arising in connection with the payment service shall be resolved between the Purchaser and the payment provider at their own responsibility.

Article 7 (Returns, Exchanges, & Cancellations)

The Company shall handle product returns, exchanges, and order cancellations in accordance with the "Special Terms for Returns and Exchanges" set forth under the [Specified Commercial Transactions Act Disclosure] published on the website.

Chapter 3 Handling of Personal Information

Article 8 (Handling of Personal Information)

The Company handles personal information in accordance with its separately established Privacy Policy.

In using the Service, Users and Purchasers are prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts:

  1. Acts that cause or may cause inconvenience, disadvantage, or damage to other Users, third parties, or the Company

  2. Acts that infringe or may infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, patents, intellectual property rights, portrait rights, personal rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other rights of third parties or the Company

  3. Acts that violate public order and morals, applicable laws, or regulations, or acts that carry the risk of doing so

  4. Using Content obtained through the Service beyond the scope of personal, non-commercial use

  5. Reproducing, selling, publishing, distributing, or publicly displaying Content obtained through the Service, directly or via third parties

  6. Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service or other services provided by the Company

  7. Acts that damage or undermine the credit and reputation of the Company, or other acts reasonably deemed inappropriate by the Company

  8. Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company

Chapter 5 Disclaimers

Article 10 (Disclaimers)

  1. The Company assumes no responsibility for damages incurred by third parties due to a User's or Purchaser's violation of these Terms.

  2. The Company makes no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, usefulness, or any other aspect of the Content or information obtained through the Service.

  3. In principle, the Company shall not be liable to Users or Purchasers for any damages arising from the use of the Service. However, if exemption clauses do not apply because the agreement between the Company and the User/Purchaser constitutes a consumer contract pursuant to Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Consumer Contract Act of Japan (Act No. 61 of 2000), provisions in these Terms that fully exempt the Company from liability shall not apply. Furthermore, if the agreement constitutes a consumer contract and the Company bears liability for damages due to default or tort, the Company's liability shall be capped at the total amount paid by the User/Purchaser under these Terms during the one-year period prior to the date the damage occurred, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

  4. If processing or display errors occur due to access congestion or system issues, orders will be processed in the sequence received. The Company shall not be liable for damages caused by such issues, except as provided in the preceding paragraph.

  5. If a Purchaser refuses/fails to receive a package, cannot receive items due to an extended absence, or provides an incorrect address, the Company fulfills its delivery obligation and is released from liability by attempting delivery to the designated address and contacting the registered contact information.

Chapter 6 Miscellaneous

Article 11 (Copyrights & Intellectual Property)

All Content provided through the Service belongs exclusively to the Company or legitimate third-party rights holders. If any dispute arises with a third party in violation of this Article, the User or Purchaser shall resolve the issue at their own expense and responsibility without causing damage or loss to the Company.

Article 12 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed entirely in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Article 13 (Consultation & Jurisdiction)

If any matters are not provided for in these Terms or if doubts arise regarding their interpretation, the Company and the User/Purchaser shall consult in good faith to resolve them promptly. For any disputes arising in connection with these Terms, both parties agree in advance that the district court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office shall serve as the exclusive court of first instance.
